Sustainability

Sustainability is embedded in our mission as a business and Centrus is incredibly excited to be a certified B Corporation

Centrus is a Certified B Corporation

Centrus is committed to exemplifying high standards of verified social, governance and environmental performance.

We back this up with public transparency and accountability to balance profit and purpose.

How have we done this?

  • Our services help the financial viability of other purpose-driven enterprises in specific sectors.
  • Our sectors of operation have a tangible impact on governance, the environment and on society.
  • We strive to play a lead role in adding circular credibility to the economy.
  • We are contributing to the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
  • We track our impact and set targets to get better.

Centrus has successfully recertified as a B Corp, achieving a score of 121.6, up from 115.7 in 2022.

In this video, our Chief Sustainability Officer, George Roffey, reflects on what this milestone represents—not just an improved score, but a stronger commitment to delivering finance with purpose.

“This milestone reflects the collective effort, commitment and belief across our entire team in what it means to deliver Finance with Purpose. It’s not just a score—it’s a reflection of how we operate, the standards we hold ourselves to, and the impact we strive to create for our clients, communities and each other.”

A huge thank you to everyone across Centrus who contributed to this achievement. While we’re proud of the progress, we’re even more focused on what comes next.

Our 2026 scores are detailed in the section below.
