Túath Housing Association Funding Strategy for Acquisitions

Transaction Overview

During 2015, Centrus has worked closely with Túath Housing Association, one of the largest and fastest growing housing associations in Ireland, on its financing strategy, business modelling and debt raising. Centrus analysed the strategic funding options available to Túath, and utilising our market leading expertise in social housing finance, proposed various new funding structures for our client in order to optimise its capital structure.

Following the completion of this work, Centrus was engaged to source new finance, and we were able to add further value by utilising our bank and investor relationships in running an international funding competition with funders keen to lend into Irish social housing. Following a thorough analysis of proposals, Centrus assisted Túath in selecting the most appropriate funder for acquisitions. The new funding will deliver significant cost savings for Túath. Centrus is currently working with Túath to finalise a facility agreement with the selected funder.
